Cat's Claw

DESCRIPTION

Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is a large woody vine native to the Amazon and is commonly used in traditional medicine, especially to treat asthma, urinary tract inflammation, arthritis, rheumatism and bone pain, to recover from childbirth, as a kidney cleanser, to heal deep wounds, to control inflammation and gastric ulcers and for cancer. Our Cat's Claw plants are grown in the open air according to the standards of Organic Agriculture regulations without genetic modification, hand-picked, dried and powdered by farmers in the St. Martin and Junin region of Peru. This extraordinary vine is full of photochemicals, oxide alkaloids, antioxidants, plant sterols and caboxyl alkyl esters.
